By delving into constitutional provisions, historical developments, legislative frameworks, the role of the Supreme Court, and the functions of various adjudicatory and non-adjudicatory bodies, the study aims to identify the strengths and shortcomings of existing approaches. The ultimate goal is to propose informed and practical recommendations that can foster better cooperation ensure equitable sharing, and improve the resolution of disputes over shared water resources in India. en_US
